Fayette County, Georgia is going through an additional cycle of updates through the coordinate accuracy
improvement process known as TIGER modernization or the MAF/TIGER Accuracy Improvement Project (MTAIP). To improve the spatial
accuracy of the TIGER public domain dataset, this process requires information on road centerlines with a coordinate accuracy of 7.6
meters or better with a CE95. The process will utilize existing datasets or imagery as source as opposed to new collection.
Advanced notification of U.S. Census Bureau intent to update geographic information in this area for purpose of
the MAF/TIGER Accuracy Improvement project.
