All, thank you for your interest in attending the TransMAT-ASWG meeting.

The call-in information, agenda, and presentation are attached and
reprinted below.

NENA folks, your interest in this meeting is a late, important, and
very welcome development. The agenda was out before you had a chance
to reply, but I do want take a few minutes at the beginning of the
meeting to give someone to speak for NENA as to NENA's interest and
structure of involvement. Do I understand correctly that tomorrow's
attendees represent NENA's NG9-1-1 Data Development Committee and GIS
Committee? If so, could I call on one person form each committee to
speak for the others in providing a 1-2 minute statement the
committee's scope and interest?

If so, who should I call on?

On Wednesday's NGDD CLDXF WG conference call, Ed Wells invited the NGDD
CLDXF
and GIS WGs to participate in an effort at the federal level to reconcile
the Address Standard and the USDOT Transportation Standard and to use the
Address Standard for Transit and Transportation use cases.

A few years ago, NENA tried to get this effort started as a result of an
issue brought to the Technical Committee by a state.  At the time, we could
not get the federal agencies that were needed.  We now have our chance to
make this effort happen.
